About me
I’ve always loved the power of the human voice and have devoted my career to helping people achieve their best, most genuine voice. I’ve been a vocalist and musician my entire life, exploring a wide variety of vocal genres. I spent 16 years as a voice-specialized speech-language pathologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Voice Center, where I worked with and learned from some of the very best in the voice care field. I understand the unique needs of professional voice users – singers, actors, clergy, educators, public speakers, politicians, and attorneys. I’m ready and able to help you regain or develop YOUR authentic voice.
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York and Massachusetts and I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I am also a Pan-American Vocology Association-recognized Vocologist (PAVA-RV) and an affiliate member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
I currently teach Voice and Related Disorders at Ithaca College and St. Elizabeth’s University and have held teaching positions at the MGH Institute of Health Professions (Voice Disorders, Counseling in Speech-Language Pathology) and New England Conservatory (Vocal Pedagogy).
I am a mom, a wife, and a daughter. I love to sing, to play the harp, to read, and to hike.
